Collect the territory energy to erect new settlements, react to the effects of the unstable deities, and pressure the adversary to hinder their growth.

The goal is to build three 5-stage pagodas before your opponent on a hex-shaped board with different territories representing the lands of Tibetan Mithology

EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

Make Games!

Thirty minutes talk in which I explain why everyone should try to design games as a means of expression, just like taking pictures or creating YT videos.

I provide with reasons, tools and tips in order to develop easy games, even without knowing how to code.

Focused on high-school students, I have delivered this talk >10 times in the last two months.

Game Session

 Overcooked

Game Session exposed in the university Students Video Game Association. Using Overcooked as an example, we delivered an introductory class about several topics:

  • Iterative Design (developed by me)

  • Multiperspectivism in the Studies (developed by Yago)

  • Cooperative design tips (developed by me)

 

Gamification and flow

A Ludologic approach to the tools and strategies followed to achieve the 'flow state' in Gamification Apps.

In particular, this is a critical study of Kahoot in learning environments, applying the theories about Flow Space and Simplicity developed by Curtiss Murphy.

These theories are, in turn, based on the research of Flow carried out by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, psychology professor and researcher.

Gamer Community Analysis League Of Legends

Javier and me tried to find reasons and solutions to the toxicity noticed in the League of Legends Community.

We focused on the study of the communication channels, both internal and external ones, trying to reach some solutions about one of the main problematics of this plyers' community.
